What it looks like cooperation
with an interior designer
We will ask for details such as the metre, floor, condition of the property, planned date, presence of a lift, scope of work, possession of the project and a pre-size projection of the flat. We respond to email enquiries from Monday to Friday. In case of a missed call - we will call you back.
We will then provide you with a full step-by-step implementation process to allay any doubts.
We will provide you with a detailed estimate within 2-3 days of receiving all the necessary information.
We discuss the terms and conditions of the collaboration, answer any questions about the contract and establish a payment schedule to ensure that the collaboration is completely clear and comfortable.
Preparation of the detailed design is approximately 30 working days, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
This includes visualisations - i.e. what your flat will look like after the renovation, a technical design - i.e. a projection on the walls, gas and heat installations, etc., and a list of equipment and materials needed, along with their costs.
We then proceed to implementation, which takes up to 6 weeks from the acceptance of the detailed design.

What is included in the project?
The project includes:
- Conceptual design: functional layout of rooms, photorealistic 3D visualisations, selection of colours, materials and lighting, consultation
and adjustments in accordance with your preferences. - Executive design: detailed technical documentation for the executive team, projections, sections, architectural details, installations
electrical, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, selection of doors, floors, balustrades, stairs and more. - Made-to-measure furniture: individually designed furniture for the kitchen, bathroom, living room, dressing room and other rooms, selection of materials, systems, visualisations and execution drawings for the carpenter.
- Salon visits: individual appointments in salons, assistance in selecting
flooring, tiles, fixtures, lighting, fabrics and accessories as part of the
specific budget, cost optimisation and design consistency. And all of this is brought together in one clear table tying up the entire interior. - Working to a budget: detailed costing of all elements of the project, adapting the concept and materials to the client's budget.

Can I order just the interior design without implementation?
We don't leave clients with a concept - we offer a comprehensive service. Every interior we design is designed to be realised - to the extent that we agree together.
Do I need to decide on a full finish with furniture and decoration?
No - although many clients choose to do so. You can realise a turnkey interior with us in the basic version (walls, floors, bathroom, lighting, doors), or you can go a step further and entrust us also with customised furniture, white goods, furnishings and decorations. What is the scope of work of an interior architect at DD Projekt?
The interior designer on our team does not just design - he guides the client through every stage of implementation. From getting to know the client's needs and creating a concept for the arrangement, through the selection of furniture, lighting and colour schemes, to implementation with proven contractors. We operate as a single interior design studio, taking full responsibility for every stage of the project.
Is the collaboration remote or stationary?
Both forms are possible. Meetings can take place in our office in Krakow or online. We document, report and discuss the stages of completion on an ongoing basis - you have full control over what happens to your interior.
How do you prepare to work with an interior designer?
At the first stage, we will ask you for some basic information: square footage, location, scope of work, planned completion date and a possible floor plan of the flat. If you have a ready-made design or inspirations - it is worth preparing them.
During our first conversation, we want to get to know not only your expectations, but also your taste, needs and lifestyle. This allows us to propose a residential interior design that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also fully compatible with your daily rhythm.
Although we bring experience, creativity and spatial imagination, it is your guidance that allows us to create a comprehensive design - functional, coherent and refined in every detail.
