Is worth use of professional designers?

To answer the question posed in the title of this article, we need to clarify our individual approach to the space in which we live and work. The fact is that almost all of us face the challenge of interior design at least once in our lives. Some love to do it, are creative, have a feel for it and feel confident in arranging their interiors.

Arrangement interiors - alone or with a professional?

There are people in the spectrum who are not comfortable with architecture. They feel reluctant to make plans for their interiors, while at the same time realising that a well-designed space means comfortable living. However, because they have trouble deciding on a particular concept or cannot imagine certain solutions in the space, they shy away from decorating their home or flat themselves.

We understand both sides of this discussion. For this reason, the answer to the question of whether interior design is better done on your own or with a professional cannot be clear-cut.

Type „Zosia-Samosia” and interior designer

Using an interior designer means additional costs. For this reason, those who are able to arrange the interior themselves can save a lot of money. And while the financial argument encourages people not to use a specialist, we suggest looking at it from a different perspective.

If you have an interest in architecture and are creative, then working with an architect could work out for you! You will have the chance to talk to someone who has been designing spaces for years. She will share with you her insights and the golden rules she has developed during her career. There is a good chance that you will learn something new and refresh your perspective on interior design.

For a creative person with a sense of style to work with an interior designer is also a clash of two concepts. We suggest you take the challenge and take a chance - someone who also has extensive experience in interior design will present an alternative view of the space in question and confront your ideas with their wealth of experience.

Satisfaction
begins with a meeting

Not like, I can't” - is an interior designer a must?

However, if we are people for whom interior decoration is a nightmare because we are not sure of our taste and we feel exhausted when we have to choose colours or furniture, an interior designer seems to us to be a saviour from the problem. Indeed, enlisting the help of a professional in such a case is advisable, as we will be sure that the space we have to decorate will not succumb to the basic mistakes that an amateur could make.

We advise, however, that even in such a case we should not take a passive part in furnishing our space. We can, of course, give the architect complete freedom - this will certainly make his job easier. However, if we already decide to pay for the service, let's use this as a practical lesson for the future. Don't be afraid to ask basic questions about interior design principles. Perhaps by working with an architect, we will gain more confidence when it comes to designing a space and next time we take on the challenge of furnishing a flat ourselves?
