The choice is never obvious
For some, the biggest dream is to have their own garden and the freedom offered by a detached house. For others, it is the convenience of living in the city centre, where everything is within easy reach. And this is where the most common dilemma begins: a house or a flat.
At DD Projekt, we meet people who have chosen to buy a flat because they appreciate the lack of property maintenance responsibilities and quick access to work or leisure. The predictability of costs is also a big advantage with a flat - rent and fees are usually easier to plan for than with a house.
In contrast, those who have dreamt of building their own home emphasise the joy of having their own space and being able to adapt the design to their needs. When it comes to a house, privacy, contact with nature and a sense of independence are important.
Each decision is therefore different and the motivations are sometimes very personal. Some will choose to live on the outskirts of the city, others cannot imagine daily life outside the city centre. Whatever the choice, the experiences of those who have already gone down this road show that both buying a detached house and a flat in the city centre have their advantages and limitations.
