About the project
New history at Kazimierza Wielkiego
In the heart of Krakow, on Kazimierza Wielkiego Street, a flat was created that underwent a complete metamorphosis. The old building became the background for a modern arrangement, and the general renovation allowed to create a coherent space, elegant and refined in every detail.
Right from the threshold, you can feel the consistency of the concept - concealed doors integrated into the walls, custom-made wardrobes and seating, large mirrors and subtle lighting create a hall that both surprises and welcomes you with tranquillity.
The living area is the real heart of the flat - the living room with its soft sofa and marble tables, the kitchen combining whitewashed stone with elegant fronts and fluted panels, and the dining room with its round table, inviting to meet. Every material here has been chosen to work together to create a harmonious whole.
The interior also conceals a child's room, full of lightness and functional solutions. Circular cut-outs in the furniture, the desk and customised built-ins, as well as a sporty accent on the wall, give it character. The bathroom and bedroom, on the other hand, are spaces of tranquillity - stone, veneer, black fittings and rhythmic corrugations create an atmosphere of intimacy and elegance.
This flat is an example that an old building can be used to create a space to suit modern needs. The key is a coherent design, refined details and furniture made to measure - just like at DD Projekt.
Tell us about yourself. We'll take care of the rest.
From design to implementation to inhabitation.
