O projekcie
The idea behind the interior design of the house in Zakopane was to create a space that would be perfect for a holiday in the mountains at any time of the year. The investors are fans of modern style with elements of classic and glamour, so our challenge and goal was to combine these styles and incorporate them into the Podhale climate, to refer to the place where the house is located.
In a way, it wasn’t difficult, because the large windows offer a breathtaking view of the highest Polish peaks. However, we wanted to avoid banal references to the Podhale style, so the mountains “entered” the interiors thanks to the use of modern wallpapers with mountain and natural motifs. The terrain in which the house is located is also referred to by the materials used, such as: natural wood, stone finish of countertops, etc. Additionally, the natural stoneware on the staircase may be associated with a graphic image of a rock, a mountain stream, or sharp ridges – here, imagination knows no bounds.
Thanks to this arrangement, the attic has become not only aesthetic, but also functional, with attention to every detail.
